Privacy Policy

NotesArchi does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data to any server. All notes — including titles, bodies, colors, pin status, and the URL and title of pages you attach notes to — are stored exclusively on your device using the browser's local storage API (chrome.storage.local).

NotesArchi has no backend, no analytics, no account system, and makes no network requests of any kind. The extension cannot see or store anything outside of the notes you explicitly create.

Page notes.When you attach a note to a page (or use “Save selection to NotesArchi”), the page's URL, title, and favicon are stored alongside your note so it can resurface automatically when you revisit that page. This data is only stored for pages you explicitly choose to annotate — NotesArchi does not track your general browsing history.

Permissions.NotesArchi requests the minimum browser permissions needed to function: storage (to save your notes), tabs (to know which page a note belongs to), and context menus (to power the right-click “save selection” feature).

Uninstalling the extension permanently deletes all locally stored data. There is nothing to delete on any server, because nothing is ever sent to one.
